BAROSSA VALLEY TOURIST PARK
The Barossa Valley Tourist park is situated 70 Km north of Adelaide, the state's capital city and Adelaide International Airport. A short 1 hour drive finds you at Nuriootpa right in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
The resident managers Steve & Carita Brown and their staff will extend to all travellers a very warm welcome upon arrival. They are only too willing to offer visitors information on events to see and do whilst in the Barossa Valley.
You are sure to enjoy the idyllic, tranquil comfort of the Barossa Valley Tourist Park. Whether you wish to stay in the luxury of a fully self-served cabin or the comfort of your own caravan, motor home, camper-trailer or tent. This is the perfect place to make your base, from here you can enjoy visits to the many wineries, restaurants, lookouts, arts and crafts, historic cottages and walks.
The township of Nuriootpa has good local shopping facilities including a major supermarket within comfortable walking distance.
For the more energetic there are tennis courts, walking trials, bike trails, ovals and a swim centre (the local pool is situated 200m from the park entrance). For those wishing to take it more relaxed, you can sit under the shade of a tree and enjoy the antics of the locals, watch the ducks and swans as well as feed a possum or two.
